The house itself is incredible—it had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a comfortable, stress-free stay, and the stunning views were just breathtaking to wake up to every morning. Our host, James, was absolutely outstanding. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and catered to every single one of our needs. A major highlight of our trip was hiring chefs Jordi and Jose from Wow Chefs. Their meals were spectacular and truly elevated the entire vacation experience. Beyond the amazing house and top-tier service, the surrounding nature makes this property truly special. We had lots of amazing wildlife visit the house daily, and we spent hours just watching monkeys, toucans, and iguanas right from the comfort of our private pool. Absolutely Exceeded Expectations! This immaculately maintained home has eye popping views from the bedrooms and showers! Our adult kids were amazed that they all had their own rooms. Jim and Lilliana thought of everything when designing this house. The monkeys arrived daily to entertain. The Macaws and Toucans were amazing to see in the wild. The pool is sparkling and wonderful in the early morning or after a day of sightseeing. The owners and their wonderful staff went above and beyond to provide daily cleaning and laundry as well as stocking the home with groceries in advance of our arrival. That's right, you don't do the laundry, the housekeeper does it for you, every day. While cleaning the house and making the beds. Jim and Lilliana were also a terrific source of information regarding restaurants, calling transportation services for our trips to restaurants and shopping, and even gave us several rides to Biesanz beach and back. We celebrated a birthday for two of our family members toward the end of our stay and Jim and Liliana handled ordering and delivering a cake discreetly to the refrigerator in the second kitchen downstairs! The wonderful location and home and service really makes you feel valued. There are so many activities you can enjoy from this home base, and it would not be the end of the world to simply stay home for a day, sipping drinks and enjoying the pool, the patios, the views, and the Pura Vida! A fabulous modern villa, beautifully built and decorated set on a hillside with magnificent views of the ocean and the forest. The beds are very comfortable, the pool is great and the setting is magical. We celebrated a special family birthday - and Casa Playitas was the best place to stay! Amazing Experience!
We absolutely loved our time at Casa Playitas. Alexander was wonderful from the start and assisted us with booking various excursions, round trip airport transportation for our group of 9 and a rental car for once we were in Manuel Antonio. On site, he was able to make changes for us and even shared a great nearby spot for us to get set up with beach chairs. Thank you, thank you! The house itself is absolutely stunning and the view is magical. It was wonderful to wake up to that every day. The house had everything we needed in terms of pots/pans/utensils/cups. The housekeeper was wonderful as well and it really felt as though you could relax as she, Alex and Nelson the groundskeeper were helping make sure we didn’t need to worry about anything. Would recommend staying here!

Spectacular Views Inside & Out!!!!
We had an unforgettable experience, like none other! There isn’t anything this house is missing! Absolutely perfect for large families, multiple families with or without kids and large groups of friends. Each room has a priceless view of the ocean. The highlights include being centrally located close to bars and restaurants, clean and comfortable beds with each room having its own A/C, shower windows that open up into nature, balconies for everyone, one kitchen upstairs and one downstairs, and THE MONKEYS!!! They were an absolute hit, especially for the kids! Don’t miss out on this opportunity! Book now, as you won’t regret it!

Casa Playitas
My extended family (10 people, including 2 toddlers) had a terrific time staying at Casa Playitas. The view is one of the best we’ve ever experienced. We loved socializing on the porches, where we saw dozens of monkeys, a pair of macaws, and lots of other birds. The beach is 1km down the rocky road and we went multiple times each day. There are surfboards and boogie boards for rent next door. There’s a great mix of restaurants up the street in Manuel Antonio for eating out and ordering out. We ate mostly at the house because of the toddlers, but peeked into many of the nice restaurants with incredible sunset views. Alex, the concierge, was super helpful in arranging our activities, rides, and a private chef (Glenda and Melby) for one of our dinners. The food was delicious and it was so nice not to have to clean up! If you’re concerned about visiting Costa Rica in the rainy season, it does not rain for very long. Most of the time it was clear and dry. Thank you, Alex! You and your team made our vacation wonderful.

Casa Playitas is undoubtedly the most beautiful home I have ever stayed in! It is located near treetop level with a magnificent view of the ocean. There was plenty of room for my family of 10 to spread out. Everyone I dealt with-Mauricio, Alex, Carol & Nelzon went above & beyond to help us have the best family vacation possible. Always enjoy the Winter Season
Amazing priceless ocean view in the middle of the rainforest surrounded by abundant local wildlife including vibrant birds! I can still hear the jungle. Walkable to the best surf and beaches in Manuel Antonio and restaurants The casa also provided the option of in-house chefs who prepared delicious flavorful local cuisine as well as fine dining. The casa is well appointed with all the creature comforts of my home. It really was a one of kind experience. I plan to return soon! Donna

This beautiful home nestled in the jungle with an ocean view was amazing. We saw Tucans, Howler Monkies, Titis & Sloths from the balcony! We were fortunate to share this time with the homeowners Jim & Lilliana. They were accommodating & gave great recommendations for the local attractions. We went ziplining, snorkeling & had a great time at the beaches. We can’t wait to go back!

“Welcome Home” is how we were greeted when we walked in and how we felt the whole time. This home is amazing. Beautiful, clean, cozy, exotic…. the views were breathtaking, the wildlife fun to watch. Waking up and seeing the blue, blue sky and the ocean…. Listening to the birds and monkeys playing in the trees. I have to say this was one of the best vacations I have ever had, and I have had a few! You won’t go wrong in booking this fabulous home. The caretakers, Alex, Carol and Nelson took really good care of us from shopping, to booking excursions and doing our laundry. It really is Pura Vida! Talk about breathtaking! Staying at Casa Playitas was an absolute dream. The abundance of wildlife was mindblowing. While casually lounging in the pool we saw more animals than anywhere else on our trip. Everything about this property is gorgeous. The home is beautifully decorated and the rooms have views that can’t be beat. We were very well taken care of and experienced out of this world hospitality. Close to the beach, fantastic dining, and adorable little shops, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will absolutely be returning every chance we get!

Our group of 6 adults had the most amazing time at Casa Playitas!!! Totally exceeding all of our expectations from location, views, amenities, and service. Maurico was wonderful and coordinating our excursions, grocery runs, and private chef. We had Chef Gerald for dinners each night and highly recommend him! Everything was Perfect!
We stayed at Casa Playitas with three other couples recently and the home, property management company and staff supporting the home were all outstanding! The quality of the home is evident everywhere – the furnishings, bathroom fixtures, bedding, towels and everything is what you would expect in a beautiful high end home but rarely ever see in a rental. As the many other reviewers have stated, the views are amazing. This was our second trip to Costa Rica and while the whole country is beautiful, many homes do not provide the convenient access to the beach, restaurants and shopping like Casa Playitas. The house is perfect for a large family or up to five couples, the owners thought of everything and if you stay here you will be very happy with your choice.

Best Home in Manuel Antonio
We booked Casa Playitas for the Pelagic Rockstar Billfish tournament in January. These house was way beyond our expectations we rent homes all the time in this area and by far this is the nicest house we have ever booked. The layout is absolutely perfect for several guests and brings the views inside. The pool area is a perfect spot to relax and cool down after visiting the beach which is a quick 5 minute walk. Mauricio the house manager went out of his way to meet our needs and took care of everything for us. There is no detail in this house I would ever change they did it absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Amazing Casa Playitas
Our family of six adults and five grandchildren ages 10 months, 4, 6, 9, 11 had a fabulous time for five nights at Casa Playitas. The home is beautiful, the ocean and tropical views were awesome, the maid was present daily, the pool was such fun for all. The way the easy sliding doors opened the house to extend onto the balcony brought in the beauty and oven breezes! This spacious home easily accommodated our entire family. Mauricio was so helpful in booking excursions and making reservations, not to mention his welcoming us with a beautiful flower arrangement and iced champaign and wine after our weary travel day. He set up an amazing last dinner with chef Tito and his wife Sandy. We wish we had arranged for more evening meals! The location is perfect for Manuel Antonio Park and Playitas Beach. Highly recommend this fabulous home! True Pura Vida!

I cannot express into all the words that come close to describing our stay at Casa Playitas!! Stunning, beautiful, and extremely accommodating!! The view was amazing and the open space served us and our guests very well. The decor, furnishings, pool area were so amazing! We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Villa Punto De Vista which was literally 2 minutes away!! The house is so spacious! Each guest room is so private. The staff went out of their way to keep it sparkling each day! Special thanks to Mauricio, the house conceirge! He was spot on each and every time we needed something. He purchased groceries for us prior to our arrival so we were ready to go upon arriving! He assisted with car rental, taxi rides, meal delivery, excursion set up and anything we needed, one text, and he responded immediately!! We have never traveled to Costa Rica and had no idea how beautiful of a place it is! The beaches, food, location and accommodations made this a trip of a lifetime. Beyond Amazing
We just had the most amazing week at Casa Playitas. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the photos on this site really do not give you a true idea on how beautiful it really is. The home is high end while also being comfortable and homey at the same time. The staff is professional and provides anything no matter how small or big the request. They assisted with the planning of excursions which were also amazing and I highly recommend as well. We had massages at the home, again amazing! The food and beaches are something that I have never experienced before as well, which we are not new to beach resorts. We highly recommend this home and will definitely be back. In fact i have told all our friends about this hidden gem in the jungle.

We give Casa Playita and the whole staff 5+ stars. The very impressive modern home is allot more beautiful in person than in photos, attention to detail in every aspect. The location is amazing, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Mauricio was excellent in getting the house stocked before our arrival, planning our excursions, transportation, in house chef and lots more. Casa Playitas was much better than we expected, the contemporary design built into the jungle with amazing views was awesome, we loved the smell of the trees, plants, and ocean air was so relaxing!! Great location! 5 minute walk down to the beach and up to restaurants. The huge living and kitchen area feel like you’re floating on top of the the jungle to the ocean! Amazing resort home!
We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home! The home is even more incredible in person than the pictures show! We had two families staying together with 6 kids total, there was plenty of room for everyone! We loved cooking in the kitchen, watching monkeys, macaws, toucans, etc from the front deck, cooling off in the pool, and relaxing! It was amazing and wish we could have stayed longer! We all had work calls at different times, and some of the group woke up early, so it was perfect to have the extra kitchen area downstairs to accommodate both of these things! We walked down to the beach every day… it’s a tough walk, but doable! And worth it!!! We did surf lessons, zipling, and fishing in the area, loved it. Gorgeous House, Perfect Stay
I can’t imagine a better place to stay. More beautiful than pictures can convey. It truly is where the jungle meets the ocean. We walked onto the luxurious pool area with the most beautiful views. We were greeted by 3 little Squirrel monkeys that put on quite a show for us. Not long after, we hear the fierce bellow of Howler Monkeys & the Congo! Beautiful birds flying over & around Casa Playitas. Parrots, Toucans and so many more with beautiful colors. Down the Rd is a beautiful beach. We enjoyed the warm waves as we floated inside the breakers. So warm and relaxing. We also saw a sloth in the tree at the beach! Loved the 3 Waterfall excursion with lunch. The staff at the house was wonderful. Always clean and beautifully kept. Top notch restaurant and shopping all within walking distance.

Our host Mauricio was absolutely incredible, any request we made he was all over it in a matter of seconds! The house was even more superior than it looked in the photos (which are great photos)! Perfect house for relaxing, cooking, having business meetings. Also, the icing on the cake was the location. The beach was a short walk, the best restaurants were all within 10 minutes on foot, and even the gym was just down the street. Our favorite part of the home was enjoying a coffee on the patio and watching the wildlife in the mornings…Can’t wait to come back!
